I've been saying that it was good ever since 2013, glad to see people are willing to look at it again.

It was still hot trash with the only good parts being the ED and the classroom scene.

Aku no Hana is my favourite manga of all time and I do think it's a masterpiece, I haven't watched the anime though.

Aku no Hana is my absolute favorite manga. I'm obsessed with it. I even wrote like 150 pages of fanfic even tho I think fanfic is the cringiest thing ever. But I was always afraid to watch the anime. It would crush if they ruined it. I know how much autism I'm showing in this post, but could anyone here who liked the manga tell me the anime will not ruin it for me?

Thanks. I was always turned off how Sawa looked in the anime. But if they get even a tiny bit of the atmosphere and themes right, it will be worth it.

The anime art style tosses out all the comedic irony of the original, which I think ruins it. But if you can look past the poorly executed rotoscoping, it at least captures some of the manga's dramatic tension.
