The only reason I read Overlord is how most things evolve without Ainz even showing up. Then it's much more fun when finally he does appear.

The more adaptation concentrates on him, the more it becomes like regular isekai shit. With the plot being concentrated into a movie format, I don't see how it could possibly be any good.

That seems confusing in the sense that any given skeleton or zombie could either be the remains of a living person or something that was never alive manifesting from negative energy.

Elder Liches simply being the next step in a Skeleton Mage's unlife cycle defeats the point of the whole "lich" angle, doesn't it? It's not an immortal spellcaster who can respawn when killed unless its soul/phylactery is destroyed, it's just an undead with greater magic potential. Even Overlords would die after being killed the one time. That isn't lichdom, that's just being a more powerful skeleton.

I was rather disappointed in Aura and Shalltear...even more so if you think about that they were present the entire time when Ainz brought the dwarfs on his side without slaughtering them all.

As for the NPCs, I think PA is the only one he could open up to properly because I've a feeling that PA has it in him to understand Ainz on a more personal level, being his own creation and all.
