All Might vs Noumu is shonen hype in its purest form. He's fighting to protect not just people but the very ideal of a heroism and barely succeeds with nothing but grit and a good punch. But the animation went off model for half the fight and the lulls in the action were kinda disorienting.

Boros vs Saitama is an intentional facade of a climactic finale. The excitement is unconventional, since it's framed from Boros' perspective. As Boros pushes himself towards his own deathbed in an attempt to break down the unyielding wall that is Saitama's apathy. Only for it all to end in the solemn anti-climax that is Saitama's punch. Animation was a lot more impressive in terms of scale (and consistency) and the various phases of the fight made the facade very convincing.

All Might vs Noumu succeeds as a very traditional slug fest bolstered by a bevy of immediately relatable themes (which lend it a lot of weight).

Boros vs Saitama is an unconventional fight about Saitama failing to get his glorious battle for the ages, while Boros does (but not really).

I prefer Boros vs Saitama for how much it relates to Saitama's dilemma and the unique way it was framed. Plus the spectacle was top notch. But All Might vs Noumu is the more hype inducing fight.

I think a big part of this is movement. Watch All Might's limbs. Every movement is deliberate and you can actually see what he's doing in order to advance the fight. And when you can't see his limbs, you can easily figure it out.
