The movie is underwhelming, but it still has that feel to it which made me like the series in the first place. It's not a masterpiece, maybe I've got a different angle becuase I was back home tired and remembered I had downloaded the film and started watching it. It was underwhelming but nice anyway.
Season 3 would just kill me with Origami suffering seriously, DAL threads would come back freaking strong.

Did Shidou sense her presence or was it by coincidence? Unaware why, Kurumi had arisen
in his dream.
“Ara ara, what are you dreaming about hm?” Kurumi gently touched the tip of Shidou’s nose.
He let out a puff.

Some sleep talking had leaked out.

A potential Season 3 will no doubt cover both Natsumi and Origami's two-parters to Volume 11 while we're left with an awkward gap of Volumes 12 and 13. Antimagic is more close to being an urban fantasy than the whole tournament style battle harems that its been compared with but its not the only one. I personally enjoy it since the original source had a developed setting, actual adult figures in said dangerous setting, good fights, the existence of plot where its the protagonist working towards a goal and how's actually the center of it, and how it doesn't really waste its time with filler in its volumes.

A mere "visual fuck up" doesn't havea a effect like that, the material included in the BDs were nothing special, the reduced QUALITY didn't fix the inferior artstyle to season 1, they didn't even bother fixing or improving some of the most important scenes like Shidou protecting Miku or the awful amount of stills between scenes.

It doesn't help the studio in charge focuses more on faservice and ecchishit when adapting a series.

If a season 3 happens you can expect the same, they will focus on fanservice, there will be a filler episode and they will butcher the actual plot, the animation might be better this time but still not as good as season 1.
