I don't get this episode. The producers this whole time were pretty much hyping Nanami up as the next big thing but immediately go back to Chitose for... reasons? At least when they first switched to Nanami it was because she was a fresh talent and they wanted to exploit that, but why the sudden interest in Chitose again, especially considering her attitude recently?

And speaking of which, the whole scene in the bedroom with Chitose and Gojou was pretty weird. I always thought of Chitose as a balloon that had to be inflated constantly to keep its shape. So her cheering up after someone inflated her ego makes sense, but it's not actually fixing the problem at hand, is it? Gojou should know better than to do something like that. I was expecting a sterner reaction.

This was truly an unexpected masterpiece! Even though it was sort of telegraphed, Chitose asking for acceptance from her brother really brought me to tears. At the start, we thought, "these characters are really two-faced bitches", but by the end we see how human, how flawed yet caring and hardworking everyone is. I am truly envious of Chitose, I hope I can also learn to be more confident and find such caring friends. Unexpectedly, this series has captivated me more than Hibike and Flip Flap. I wonder if the finale will be healing, or if it will be even more painful to realize that this series has ended.

This is just me assuming things but I think after getting told by Koto and Yae, Gojou may have talked to the big producer again about Chitose. Or the producer guy might've felt this is a same situation as when Gojou quit so he was feeling some empathy and wanted to give Chitose another shot.

It wasn't executed well but I like to think that's probably what happened.
