Even now whenever I recommend Berserk to people I always have to add "But don't watch the 2016 version to start, it'll ruin it for you." just because I don't want that garbage to be their intro to the series. Not just for chronological reasons, obviously.

So how many episodes were there? I dropped it at episode 10. I couldn't take it anymore, and I even finished all Ace Attorney episodes.
