They tried that with Cyber Angels and Prediction Princesses, look how well those decks turned out.
Unless the deck has every single card in it a searcher for a another searcher like Nekroz did, Ritual ends up being inconsistent and bricky and will most likely lose to itself before the floodgates get ripped on it.

Meanwhile, Syncros as a majority were generic. Yeah, some decks have Synchros limited to just them, but then you've got Stardust Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, (Old) Goyo Guardian, Catastor, Brionac, etc and many more that could and were splashed into every deck that could make them.

Same goes for Xyz, which were even easier. No need for Tuners, just have two same levels. Again, some locked into specific decks, but way more generic stuff.

Meanwhile, the concept of generic Ritual and constancy won't work. You need, at minimum, a Ritual Spell, and a Ritual Monster, both of which go in the main deck. That right there means in order to even be functional, you need a way to get both without bricking, which is what lead to the absolute degeneracy of Nekroz.
But further complicating? Synchros and Xyz have that genric factor going where they could supplement their EDs with unrelated stuff. You can't do that with Rituals and still have that functionality I just talked about.
