Hamon exhausted all it could do by part 2. It's okay to like it, but demanding more parts focused on it and hating on stands is sheer autism.

but Rebecca Sugar's best work was the shit she drew before throwing away her style in favor of CN conformity with SU, meanwhile Araki started off as derivative of artists like Tetsuo Hara and Go Nagai and found his style while doing Jojo

You don't need to explain it, there are no more zombies/vampires and the bad guys are "normal" humans.

They could have retconned hamon into some other kind of weird martial arts power so they could use it along with stands. I guess Spin is kind of a reborn hamon, but I don't think it's in Part 8 haven't gotten that far yet

Hamon could harm people as well it's just that Stands not only are long-ranged where Hamon you had to hit them first (most Stand battles usually involve fucking with the cast at a distance) they also are generally more powerful in comparison (compare Hokuto Shinken to actual reality warping).

that and it's more accessible. For Hamon you had to train diligently to master it whereas Stands you just get for being chosen.
