Canon Yamcha was already better than Saitama.

Remember Dr. Gero confused him with Saiyan Saga Kaiohken Goku? That makes him at least 4 times stronger than Saitama's serious punch against Boros.

Also, Yamcha is faster because Saitama could only reach relativistic speeds by jumping and he cant fly.

He needs to at least be able to 1v1 Nappa for this to work, and then pass the fight against Vegeta off to Goku so he doesn't feel useless, maybe jump back in to take out his tail after he goes great ape.

Why does this trigger me so much?

Isekai Yamcha ... super strong... meh...
For that already exist hundreds of fanfics and even images drawn by people who really love Yamcha.

Prefer the japanese fanwork instead in which it he regulary gets made fun of with being overly confident and getting beaten by everything what has a name and sometimes even the nameless Mooks.

Some Relief or is it called healing or something fanfiction is boring.

So really hope it only goes his way up to the end and ends in a spectaculary failure.

Also Thing like ReZero has with 'when he dies he loops' would be interesting to see how Yamcha would handle.
