This show look like Madoka clone to me:
A dark magical girl anime where a cute, matter-of-fact mascot who doesn't really care about emotions makes girls into magical girls? A pink haired protagonist who doesn't like fighting and only wants to help people? Does that NOT sound familiar? I'm not saying that's a bad thing though. Just an observation.
This series also fails to make me feel for the characters. On a superficial level I do, I think some of them are cute, I think some of them are interesting, I have favorites, I get somewhat upset when my favorites die, but compared to how I really cared about the characters in, say, Fate/Zero, it just really falls short.

Finally, as I mentioned in the beginning, it's rather average in my opinion. To elaborate, I've watched around 100 er so airing series this year, and this just does not match up, for me anyways, with some of the better anime this year. Even if I limit it to this season, I find Izetta, Shakunetsu no Takkyuu Musume and www.Working (and even Keijo!!!!!!!) a lot more enjoyable than this one. That's just my opinion though, and I'm by no means saying that it's bad or that it's wrong to like it etc. It just doesn't appeal to my tastes as much as the others.

I'm not looking forward to Uluru or Soromi's likely inevitable death. Uluru's story involving the cat was too endearing. She's a good girl that got mixed up with the wrong person.

Also, she has an incredibly powerful ability. There's an incredibly amount of utility to such an ability. Infiltration, combat, etc. Given some experience she could become almost unstoppable.

It's better to think of this as a stepping stone to the later story arcs. You're not really supposed to feel for these first few girls since there's so much more that's to happen later on. Most other series have the benefit of basically being self contained stories that finish within one season while MGRP is sorta at a disadvantage since it's the very beginning of an established series.
