That's far from being the real problem with Isekai. It's only a problem when they half ass it like in SAO (which I would count as an isekai series, at least the first arc) or Sheld Hero (where the mechanics got out of hand very quickly due to poor planning). There are plenty of Isekai that just have RPG mechanics to replace normal fantasy tropes out of laziness (like Danmachi) or just to take advantage of the readers familiarity, so they end up feeling out of place.

On the other hand you have series like Overlord and or Horizon, which are fine, because they actually take RPG mechanics to their logical conclusion when applied to a real world, specially Log Horizon (since it happens to have more human players, meanwhile Overlord focuses on papa bones). It's a more interesting take on the whole Isekai with RPG mechanics and I'm sure there are more stories like that.

And then you have other Isekai like Kumo or Mushoku don't really focus on the RPG mechanics, or that outright parody them like Konosuba, these are fine on that regard at least.

I'd say that the real problem with Isekai is the saturation of the market, ZnT was fine but what made it good were the characters, not really the Isekai aspect, and the market was quite different too.

Absolute trash.
I don't know how I stuck with it. Season 1 was alright, but you start to see some signs. Season 2 I lose sympathy for all characters. Except the gun girl and Tabitha were alright.

What the fuck is Saito's problem? He only has two flat personalities: absolute horndog and I'M YELLING BECAUSE I'M EMOTIONAL. WHAT IS NOBILITY LOUISE I DONT UNDERSTAND!

Then season 3 makes things 10x worse. The major war(plot point of the second season) gets won off screen. Shit like that crushed me. Season 1 showed potential. But it just turns into silly slapstick. Even going into the show with a dumb harem mindset, the show only has two jokes. OOPS LOUISE SORRY. And OUCH LOUISE DONT HURT ME.

There's so much more I could say but it's been a year and I forgot the little details that hurt me the most. I forget which season it was that Henrietta becomes NTR queen. And Louise getting almost stolen away by two guys pissed me off back when I was actually cheering for Saito, because I thought he felt something close to love for Louise.

I used to love this show so much but now I see how bad the anime really is. It starts off great, and it's one of the few shows where I'm not thinking of fucking the main girl myself, but really wanted Saito and Louise to get together, but every damn season it seems to reset back to square one. It will end on a high note where you think they ended up together and the very first scene in the next season Saito is getting his shit kicked in for some reason or another (aka he tried to get with another girl again). I didn't mind siesta so much, but henrietta goes from wanting to fuck fuckboii prince to wanting to fuck Saito, elf tits was just pure shit and even girls like Tabitha who used to be mysterious and such just ended up being another cocktease for Saito. And don't teven get me started on characters like Colbert, who they give a nice backstory when its revealed, who was like a dad to Saito, who was pretty much used to help remember Saito he came from a different world with weird technology and just seem to dissapear in the 4th season because we needed more elf tits.

Honestly, Louise is probably one of the easiest to handle Tsundere characters. Show her the tiniest bit of affection, and she's goes full on dere mode.

And as you said, the only reason the her and Saito continue to have conflict is because the latter keeps doing stuff that most people would consider cheating, and grounds for a break up.
