Pukin gets her self-enchantment and she gets to eat a fairy. Marika has powerful sunlight.

Who wins?

Pukin is arguably a better melee fighter than maybe anyone else in the series and her mind control is fight ending. But Marika is a living weapon with insane ranged and AoE attacks.

I think Pukin lands a hit and mind controls Marika but if Marika can land a solar beam or even a Clematis even Pukin probably won't survive.

I think the only bad things that the anime did was having too much focus on Snow White and having it told from her PoV.
In the novel, the first girl was actually Alice and many scenes were from her PoV. By the time you read the first page Snow White was already an accomplished mahou shoujo where people put her up onto the pedestal like how does she collect that many candies and stuff.
She was an idealized mahou shoujo in the novel, not so much in the anime.

Magicaloid died pathetically and I'm annoyed because the inbetween spoiled Alice's power half-ruining the scene at the end. That her robot magical girl form was "shutting down" with sparks and cables and stuff was a nice detail though. Too bad her "backstory" was literally who. She was just a runaway? I don't know, it barely explained anything.
