S;G 0 - Clockword edition fucking when? The game is damn great but got hampered by a lot of minor issues like:

Like fucking really? There are parts that the art look clearly improved over the original but others are just... awful. Child Kagari looks fine and dandy but matured Kagari looks so bad I almost mistaken it as artistic choice for a moment.

They should just lock route order in one order or something.
Another problem is even though these routes are best when you consider their relationship with each other and look at them as parts of a whole, there's very few details that directly tie them together. For example Maho's story is a major character development but the isolated nature of route and no implication of direct connection to other routes makes her moving on from Kurisu's death and her conviction to save her just seem unnecessary as it seemingly bears no consequence to the entire plot. Same with Kagari's story ending.
You have to be really dense if you don't notice that each endings contribute something to the final ending and to the effort of getting to Steins Gate worldline. But despite it being such an important plot point and also increase your enjoyment for the game as you know that each route is not irrelevant, for some reasons they just didn't explain that in-game.
Overall, I just think this game would benefit a lot more if there's a release like R;N Elite for it.

Alright, just finished it, following up with replay of operation Skuld and epilogue.

Zero is cool and nice, but feels somewhat... unfinished. A lot of things barely went anywhere, like war worldline, Kagari and Yuki and the true end itself. It really could use some kind of definitive edition to really stand out.

I still think Nitro+ made the first game without even thinking of a sequel. I really don't think they expected it to be a hit. I would imagine that's a result of a combination of Japan's general cultural bent against its own military and the fact that the JSDF hasn't done particularly much since its inception.
