It's not a good show but I'd recommend it if you don't care about that kinda thing and just want a chill, K-On esque experience. I'd recommend the movie to anyone, it's standalone and very pretty with a cute story. Little more than a date flick at its core but it's got great artistic sensibilities. Bit bogged down by a few ties to the show that could've been cut, but like, fuck it it's damn solid for what it is.

If you like cute girls doin cute things shows you'll like this. The bird and his whole subplot can be tolerable or not, that depends on you. I honestly like the bird but feel like the bride subplot around him and the brown people characters are useless and hinder the overall cute shenanigans.

Tamako's voice is incredibly cute, I don't think I've ever heard a cuter voice in anime.
