Because Takami was in coma and she happened to be around to heal her back awake. This isn't rocket science. Takami is a hero after all and good in combat so she's valuable.
Under half a minute appearance in post credits isn't prominent at all either.

I don't like her design, voice, attitude, and Mary Sue/"The One"/Plot armor bullshit. Minna, Mio, Trude, and Shirley were my favorite characters from SW, Yoshika just never clicked with me.
