I understand why some people may hate Madoka and you're not wrong for disliking it. But the thing is, if a bunch of weird shit is happening to japanese middle schoolers of course they're going to be dramatic. The whole point of magical girls being young in Madoka Magica is because it's that time in their life when they're the most emotionally vulnerable or some shit like that.

It's kinda nice for a magical girl show to answer questions like "why do they have to be little girls instead of adults", "why is there always a little cute creature", "what do magical girls become in the future", etc. It's a very warm show
