Aldnoah.Zero, I begrudgingly watched the whole 12 episodes of shit CG, brain dead characters and laughably pathetic attempt at multi-faction conflict that was the first season, and was actually expecting something to happen in the second cour given that bullshit cliffhanger ending. Trying to make a huge VN into a movie on a low budget. They tried to focus on just the main romance and disregard the rest but then they went on to make a whole bunch of movie original changes. This in turn made the slice of life sections suck and the romance between the characters barely managing to connect with the viewer. At times it was downright trippy rather than engaging. The whole last part post Nagisa's death was just a depressing mess that didn't capture any of the good parts of after story then the movie just kind of sputtered to a halt.

It is not a good standalone movie. It is not a good adaption of Clannad. It is not a good romance or tearjerker movie. Also it sure isn't a good treatise for fans of Clannad since half the characters either don't appear at all in it or get just cameos. Really it just failed at the storyboarding process and had no hope after that.

Mahou Sensou. I knew I was watching something terrible at around episode 3, but I decided to stick around to see how much worse it'd get, and holy fuck they didn't disappoint me by getting worse and worse. There wasn't even any proper ending, the final episode ended right as an arc was about to start.
On the upside, Mui was cute and she was voiced by the Nao.
