Laughed more than anything, it is just ridiculous at this point. Infected and Spread found the right amount of suffering for each episode, Lostorange is just drama, suffering, drama and then suffering again without any rest.

This was my thought as well, until this episode. There was just too much slip-ups in the direction. Google(e)ing Wixoss Darkness Truth, and having the results come up to what was basically this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bW7Op86ox9g was really badly done (and another big revelation later did basically the same thing: overloud dun dun dun music, which abruptly stops).

And a lot of it felt rushed, which was always lostorage's biggest problem. One of the things that made the previous few episodes so good was that they were slowing things down to one or two major moments per episode. This episode, we got: Kiyoi explaining previous Wixoss, revelations about why the Selector system continues to exist, Chi-chan finally starting to wonder if what she's trying is such a good idea, Hanna discovering previous Wixoss, bored LRIG kills herself, Hanna wining and despairing. There's too much for one episode, and each new revelation or misfortune lessens the impact of all the others in the episode. Wixoss was improving, but this one felt like a regression.
I'm still enjoying it, though.

In the previous series, it was noted (in PA, I think) that LRIGs are paired with girls whose wish is grantable. It's not just a random process. Generally, they have to be people with a) a strong wish that will motivate them to compete, and b) that wish is grantable (by ignoring common sense and self-preservation). Ruuko was kind of an exception, as Tama herself was kind of an exception. Normally, Mayu was quite selective.

In the same vein, I imagine who becomes a selector in lostorage isn't completely random, either. It probably aims for people who what they think they want to do to their memories is likely to cause them maximum suffering. Chi-chan and Hanna both kind of support this theory. We don't really know enough about what the other selectors want to do if they win to confirm this either way, though.

I still believe that there are good and bad LRIGs, especially now that we know they're made from the orphaned wishes of the past Selectors. Not every girl ended up wanting revenge or to hurt others.
