Out of the two of these, which one should I watch first? As in, which one is better and more interesting in your opinion? Of course, everyone knows steins;gate, but I want to try out their other two anime/vns (not counting steins;gate 0)

The VN is compressed to a single cour, cutting out all kinds of hugely relevant and important scenes. And then they chose to also add anime original filler that misreads the entire tone and themes of the psychological horror/thriller of the VN by making it go full shounen. Not to mention that it looks ugly as shit.

The only thing of worth that came from the anime was SUPER SPECIAL. Watch only after you've read the VN, and only if you want to see how butchered it is.

Unfortunately, R;N doesn't even have an english translation of the VN to fall back on. Anime is only choice, but it's honestly not that good. Keep expectations low.
