Yayaka has been with the KKK since she was a child, likely been with them all her life, which also means that her parents/guardians are affiliated with them.

The KKK has deliberately been itnroducing people (eg. Yayaka) into Cocona's life to observe her closely because she's a subject of interest. They've been running experiments on her in the hospital since she was a child

Grandma is likely another KKK plant

The school nurse is likely yet another KKK plant, and probably Yayaka's supervisor

Returning the shards of Mimi to the real world influence Papika's memories and perceptions, regardless of whether Flip Flap or KKK retrieve them.

I know, man, but an "absolutely everyone henshins" ending would make me happy as shit.

That would be the kind of "fanservice" that appeals to me. Same way Mako being allowed to be the hero of a half an episode was in KLK. It was out of left field, and the in-narrative explanation for it was kind of an ass-pull, but good fucking god I loved it.

Imagine it-- Bu henshins into Pops, and summons up the power of rebellion to lightningbolt hordes of KKK robots (or maybe even take some revenge on the creepy twins). Sayuri is an ornate pretty-pretty princess type with WAY too much flair. Salt is badass, shows his actual personality (which I think we'll learn more about in the next couple of episodes). Maybe even man Uexkull can make a comeback. And a Yayaka henshin would be almost a given... all of them cheer Cocona the fuck on-- "Go, Cocona! We're behind you all the way!"

I mean, almost every single named character could carry a show on their own. It'd be a shame to never see them do anything again.

These are just the scribblings of a moron fan and I've come to terms with that. Just let me have my fun.

I like the character episodes the most as well. I was just agreeing that if the plot does keep getting pushed aside and only getting little bits, then the final episodes could lack an impact that a well developed plot COULD provide. While not the only way, a plot can used quite effectively to stimulate character growth as well as provide a climactic struggle the characters must get through.

Imagine episode 13 ending just like today's episode. People just want closure to certain loose ends and I find no problem with that. Depending on the loose end, I agree with that.

Episodes 5, 6, and the latter half of 9 are god-tier, easily worthy of AOTY.

Episodes 1, 2, 3, and 8 are pretty neat, but episodic.

Episodes 4 and 7 are "character development" episodes, which is a coded way of saying "we'll put our characters in intimate settings and pretend that automatically makes them gay for each other, even if neither of them really have any believable chemistry. Also the plot goes nowhere."

The show as a whole has fantastic animation. It hasn't reached trainwreck status, but if it doesn't start moving the plot fast it is going to end with a lot of unanswered stuff.

Also hope you like close-up shots of middle-school girl butts.
