Boros. He took 3 serious serious attacks and kept going. He took consecutive serious punches while still managing to retaliate and just received minor damage. He could casually dodge saitama. Boros even on the murata version went splat every time saitama connected. And when saitama wanted to actually connect he did without a problem. Garou is a god lvl. He is the ultimate anti-hero fighter which almost managed to break his limiter like saitama.

Who has longer reach? Who has the better ground game and grappling? Probably both Garou. Boros seems to depend on strength and energy beams. Meanwhile Garou has martial arts training, and in his ascended form is probably strong enough to take on a few strikes in order to close the distance.

Boros. He's a regenerator who was able to come back even from Saitama's normal punches. Like Evil Natural Water, that's an ability that is a soft counter to someone who relies only on physical force like Saitama and Garou.

Boros also has energy attacks and AOE attacks, along with his own super transformation. Garou is just strong, fast, and has martial arts. I guess you could say Boros is naturally stronger while Garou is better trained, but that assumes Boros is an amateur at fights, which is unlikely.

Saitama took Garou even less seriously than he did normal opponents. He thought Garou was a poser in a costume. The "serious series" moves he used were gags. Meanwhile, Saitama actually used a serious punch against Boros, who unexpectedly survived.

Boros has a much clearer way of winning this with his planetbusting Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon while Boros propably could regenerate his way out of Garou's God Slayer attacks until he's completetly drained of energy.

My answer is that it could go either way, in a short fight Boros would win in a long fight Garou would win.

Garou is just top dog when it comes to hand to hand combat technique. Boros had alot of raw power and durability his best shot would be to blast Boros into oblivion, and his blast is usually his trump card which he pulls out when it's needed so I think it would come down to how fast Garou tried to get rid of him and how persistent he is, he cannot give Boros a chance to use it.

Garou could very well redirect the attack. He wasn't Saitama level, but Saitama very easily blew through Roar Cannon; Collapsing Star. Garou being parallel(albeit lesser) could use skill to redirect it away. Monster Garou was pretty fucking scary.

But as you said, if Garou can survive the initial clash, his chances of winning will continuously increase exponentially.

I love Garou and I want him to win. I really enjoy the "human-sized fighter" trope, the Vasto Lorde trope. However, I'm a fan of energy beams as well. Boros would likely win given energy beams and collapsing roar cannon, though if gansai ryuuseiken can deflect energy then a constantly evolving Garou with heroic intention would take it. He'd deflect the blast off the surface of the earth, circumventing what someone said earlier about not being able to create enough air pressure to counteract it.
