Still salty this didn't happen. It was set up nicely with the ice maiden arc and ties up loose ends in the harem. I thought it was obviously the direction the two were heading during serialization, with the point where it theoretically would have gone full shipper mode is when Akua "kills" Kurumu, but for some reason nothing ever came of it.
But then again the mangaka NTR's Moka with her own mother, so who the fuck knows what goes through that man's head.

There's absolutely no shame in liking this.
The manga isn't a masterpiece but it's genuinely good and one of the best harem fantasy high school figthing stories. And it's only a few years old. It's only recently that 90% of them started being crap thanks to light novels.

I remember this show.

Was one of the first shows I ever watched, so seeing th storytime and getting to reread the manga was a blast from the past.

Mizore, Inner Moka and Kurumu are best girls, with partcular broness to suffering kurumu, mizoremum best mum, and the ending was fine because it wasn't mum ntr- all of mokamum was inside penistentaclemonster, pink moka was just a hollow shell around true moka with none of mokamums self, just a vague resemblance personalitywise, and the ending just has true moka picking up a couple habits from the remnants of that shell in the same way you might pick up habits from a friend.

There are a lot of pandering harem ecchi series that exist only to milk dumb otakus from their money.

This one is pandering harem ecchi too but you can tell that the author really cared about the characters, the art and the setting.
