Have you ever been psychologically evaluated? I mean, usually if they get even a whiff of suspicion they're going to diagnose you with something, so it may or may not be useful, but if you're struggling this hard you may want to do it.

It may just be social inexperience, or you might be face-blind or something. Like, you actually might miss cues that most people pick up on automatically.

Or it may be anxiety, and the idea of just talking to people is completely frightening for you and you don't want to go in without a plan (I sympathize with this one if I'm being honest).

I'd recommend you at least get something of an objective opinion.

Well, I'm happy as I am and I'm fine with that. I know for a fact that spending time around other people, and trying to make friends, just frustrates me. It feels like a boring game, and I know that sounds edgy. But that's who I am. And I know what would make me the happiest. I've always known. Ideally I would have powers and my waifu and live completely isolated form humanity in a foreign star system, but that is probably not going to happen. If there's ever even the slightest chance, you can be sure I'll jump for it, but other than that, there isn't anything that could make me really happy. I know myself. I don't expect this to apply to most people, but I'm certain there are many social outcasts whom, given the time to consider it, would realize they enjoy being alone more than they would a "normal" life. There's nothing wrong with this. It certainly isn't my ideal life, but it's not that bad either. I can live with it, while I can honestly say I cannot stand other people. I know I sound like an edgy dick, but I'm just being honest.
