Well, I don't give a shit about Grand Order, but I hope that they won't butcher F/Extra anime with their "this is going to be something different compared to the original game."
Looking at the state of Type-Moon right now, we are probably getting yet another fanservicey material, because that's what sells, SHAFT is making it and Shinbou is the director.

I really like that lately we are getting a lot of stuff, but I remember better times, when this franchise and it's creators didn't put so much thought into such unnecessary things as fanservice...

Anyway, I don't know if anyone is interested, but there's another DLC for Extella confirmed.
Seems like they are going for every CCC, GO and meme outfit they can think about.

I have decent expectations for this. It's being significantly rewritten and now there's no terrible game attached to it. It's one that needs an anime adaptation much more than F/SN or Zero. Speaking of which...

Cautiously hyped. Has a better director than UBW. It'll probably be satisfying if adapts all the key scenes well and add some extra stuff (Sakura-centric prologue, for instance), but it's not enough time to properly do everything (HF was a slow burn, not suited too well for movies as is) and it will bring more insufferable secondaries in.

Fate just seems entirely played out at this point kind of like a lot of other things Shaft is involved with these days. There's just no sense of greater purpose to the story/characters any more cause there's no real story left to tell about any of them.

It just exists because it has a lot of legacy fanboys that just want waifus and fanservice and can make Type-Moon, Shaft and Aniplex super easy money, same as stuff like Monogatari series. So if that's your thing and I know it is for a lot of people then there's really nothing to worry about, but if not I wouldn't have any particular lofty expectations at all.
