Watched the first ep, didn't enjoy it because there was no one for me to self-insert as. Obviously, this must have been the dealbreaker for a lot of people.

The entire point of ecchi is wish fulfillment and light eroticism. Keijo had neither, it was just a bland shonen that happened to star chicks that hit each other with their butts. I'm not surprised it didn't do well, and it's likely that the studio will learn from their mistake.

They fight valiant but Naki still is too strong, Rin-rin is out and Miyata is also about to lose. We get her not wanting to lose because of everyone else to the point of using a more powerful but dangerous version of her wedgie techniques. Naki is surprised as she recognizes it as an unfinished technique her friend was working on. Chapter end before we see how much quicker that will make Miyata.

My point is, anime sales alone aren't enough to say if an anime is of good/bad quality.

Also, if the anime manages to improve the manga's sales (since it's a rather unknown and new-ish series compared to the more well-known authors/works, who get more attention), the manga can get to be more well known, dealing with the problem of a (relative) lack of a consumer base. Once this is dealt with, the series can become more profitable, and chances for more seasons should increase.

Its funny because on the school arc, all big muscular players were played for laughs, like Atsuko and Yuuko and generally weaker than the other players. Even on Suruga's side, the two meat walls were the two lowest ranks, 12th and 13th.

So we don't have a strong character of same type to match Rindou as well as how Sayaka and Rin matches Naki.
