Great tension, well animated and choreographed, good display of unique special techniques. And I love how it ends with Yamucha, with no formal training and complete shock to Roshi bust out a Kamehameha only for Tein to Kaio shout it away.

Yamucha showed a lot of heart and talent in that arc. I feel that he was stronger than Krillin at that point. Krillin could do the Kamehameha at that point. Doubt he would have done as well against Tien.

I miss Tien being a badass and the other humans doing cool stuff T.T they have such cool designs and moves I don't know why we can't get them back doing stuff in Super to some degree. All I want is an arc where the lesser guys end up being the victors though the use of them all teaming up and using their unique moves together to dispatch the enemy. But an arc and fight like that would require actual talent and thought out into it to make it work, and super rarely had that.
