When Yoshizaki and Iseki were talking about the creative process behind ME!ME!ME! they said it was basically an exercise in jamming together a bunch of cool-looking shit (specifically "stuff Yoshizaki likes"). The lewdness is inspired by western music videos. They fought for like a week about how explicitly to depict the female genitals in one scene, and sent cuts back to sankaku because the MC wasn't practicing trigger discipline. It didn't sound to me like they were working on a critique, but everyone is free to interpret it how they want. I do not believe they ever commented on the story specifically.
