You don't need to be Imperium.
You just need to have a style that's similar to anime/manga origins of MonMusu, be prepared to be harassed for doing OC, be very good with faces, cater to everyone's different taste at the same time, see the same request over and over, and deliver on what you say you will draw or everyone will call you an attention whore. Its a very finicky group of talent less hacks in here.
Just draw how you want, otherwise the motivation will be killed.
