No. I remember before streaming was a thing I had to pay $40 for a VHS. Marked up in price only because you couldn't buy anime anywhere else. Entire thing was a big scam. Letting people watch anime for free increases the availability of anime and keeps the prices closer to a fair price. If anything I see it as a service to the industry.
