Out of the original I like Momoyo's route the most, as for the best girl they're all the best.

I think the only route people generally agree is weaker than the rest is Miyako's, and occasionally Wanko's.

Agave route is pretty great. The Momo/Miyako sandwich is one of my favourite CGs.

I think people found the drama to be unfun and generally against the spirit of the rest of the routes. I liked parts of the route (basically any moment spent focusing on Miyako and Yamato's romance) but the scenes of Miyako lashing out and driving a wedge between the Kawakami family members were unpleasant.

I like Miyako a lot but I just wish her route had less drama. Top-tier h-scenes though.

That's why I brought up Wanko's route, too, since I've seen people say they didn't like the idea of crushing her dreams for the purpose of developing her character differently. Though personally Wanko's drama made more sense than Miyako's which is why I prefer it.

I still think the route is decent in general but is a bit out of place in comparison to the rest of the routes (minus Agave, I guess, which has the Marshmallow drama).

Benkei's route was good until they started fucking.

MOST routes in the first game and S were lackluster to be perfectly honest. They had a way to compromise the best parts of Majikoi for no good reason. The forced drama in Miyako's route. Destroying Wanko's dream. Killing off Matsukaze (like seriously wtf), turning Momoyo into a bitch, etc. Chris' route is the only one that maintained the spirit of the game.

The SIDE ROUTES are by far the best. Iyo, Kokoro, Margarit, Musashi, Seiso, the Chinese chick, etc. Margarit has the hottest route in S AND A. Some routes in A are losers like Azyume's. Lee's and Stacey's routes were boring. Yotsune's wasn't that good. Benkei's was pretty good but they reduced her horniness for Yamato I guess to stretch out the route.

Tsubame's route in A was pretty disappointing after building it up with her mom's arrival.

That is why the route was so good, the story was essentially about someone not being able to become a professional athlete and coming to terms with it. Wanko comes out as a much stronger character because of it.

Had it been any other temple, she would have been fine, but she just had to be part of the family who can shoot fucking lasers out of their hands. Being in the top 10% is meaningless. I expected Miyako's route to be similar to the Chris route - non-stop H scenes with maybe a little plot in between. Instead I got retarded melodrama. While reading her route I actually turned the music off half way through because it was constantly playing sad songs and it was ruining my mood. That's ridiculous for such an upbeat and humorous character like Miyako. In everyone elses routes she's joking around and having a good time but in her route she's incredibly depressing. In fact, the agave route felt like a better Miyako route than Miyako's actual route to me. She gets her lighthearted H scene and a few great comedic scenes later on.

There was absolutely no reason for Miyako to get massively depressed and abandon her vest friends - normally getting your heart's desire fulfilled would have a positive effect not launch a massive forced drama event. Not saying the route was all bad but seriously wtf were they thinking.

As far as Chris is concerned I got the feeling the scenario writer was jacking off to her constantly.

Mayuchi's route was forgettable. I remember her falling to Yamato's dick quickly and then some weird crap about her consulting with her classmates on how to get Yamato to fuck her when he had no problem doing that for any possible reason? Her confrontation with Momo at the end was pretty cool though.
