Witch and Tch fight Mary. Yui and the emo one are on their way but get intercepted by Swim Swim the angel and the dog. Swim Swim cuts the emo to pieces and this makes angel remember about the body of her clone, going into a violent rampage, however she's fucking useless like those purple magic queers in that Justice League knockoff. The dog remains hidden in the cloak as per Swim Swim orders but decides to desert after hearing Yui give a speech about what being a magic girl should be like. This also makes Swim Swim reconsider, and with the emo healed, the five of them decide to head on to where the explosion happened.

There a battle ensues and sometime in the fight the angel blocks a bullet for someone, dying in the process. Meanwhile Swim Swim's sword is thrown off a skyscraper and the dog decides to go looking for it. Tch and the emo manage to kill Mary by creating a distraction and returning one of her bullets to her, while simultaneously Cranberry intercepts and kills dog while she's trying to recover the sword. This is the end of the episode.

In the next episode Cranberry reveals her master plan whatever it was, probably takes a whole episode because of memories of a sad past or whatever stupid shit. The rest of the series is a long final battle of the 5 against Cranberry with Ruler's sword. At some point during the battle Nana (still at her home) realizes that her efforts and her bodyguard's dead will be useless if everyone dies, so she joins the battle and tries to talk with Cranberry to make it stop; Yui joins her efforts to reason with Cranberry but Cranberry slashes them both with a single hit, and then gets attacked by Tch and the emo, preventing her from finishing them. This is the end of another episode.

Cranberry slashes the emo to pieces and is beating Tch one on one, the witch one tries to save her and dies but allows Tch to put some distance between her and Cranberry. Tch jumps off of the skyscraper and Cranberry follows, but is unable to find her. Cranberry returns to the skyscraper to finish Yui and Nana, who lie bleeding in the ground, but just as she approaches them Tch takes off the invisibility cloak (in a flash back it is shown that when she jumped off of the skyscraper, she recovered it from the dead dog). Tch quickly makes a hurling motion at Cranberry and it is revealed that she is throwing the angel wrapped inside the invisibility cloak, the angel quickly snatches Ruler's sword from Cranberry's hands and tries to flee, but Cranberry grabs her by the cloak, tearing it. As Cranberry's hand is about to grab the angel by her feet the emo's hand rises from a bloody mass in the ground and holds her by the ankle, delaying her just enough for the angel to transform into another identical Ruler's sword and to throw the medicine that cures everything towards Nana and Yui. In a flashback we see how the angel grabbed the medicine from her sister's body and then right before intercepting Cranberry's bullet she put a pill in her mouth, and then proceeded to play dead for a while, until she escaped to recover the invisibility cloak and found Tch doing the same, thus planning their master plan.

Nana and Yui quickly eat their pills meanwhile a red blob with hands that would be the emo one fights Cranberry, aided by Tch from afar. Yui runs closer trying to snatch the Ruler's blades from the blob, but she can only snatch one as Cranberry secures the other one and slices the emo into further gelatin. Who has the actual Ruler's sword and who's holding the angel? Middle of the episode, commercial break.

With her newfound MC majokko powers, Nana supporting her with her buffs, and Tch supporting her with ranged attacks, Yui fights Cranberry one on one; both wielding their respective Ruler's sword. In the climax of their fight they both run at each other in a suicidal attack, that is stopped by Swim Swim (Everyone had forgotten about her!) popping out of the floor to save Yui, intercepting both Ruler's swords in her chest. She submerges into the floor once more right as she dies, but takes the swords with her, leaving Yui and Cranberry in a fist fight. Despite Yui's best efforts and Nana's and Tch's support, Yui gets her shit fucked up when Cranberry pulls out a hidden blade and stabs her in the middle of the chest.

As Cranberry is slowly approaching Nana to kill her, we can hear Tch saying some stock line from behind; Cranberry turns just in time for Tch to throw Ruler's sword right at her stomach. Cranberry laughs at how fucking stupid she has to be to return her the weapon to her and speaks some stock line, assumes a blocking position... And the sword turns into the angel, and then into a fist-sized ball of mochi flying straight into Cranberry's mouth as she laughs evilly; effectively killing her by asphyxia.

Nana rushes to Yui's corpse and uncovers her chest only to find that the knife went through the rabbit's foot first, and this prevented it from going all the way into her heart. As Tch, Nana, and emo (who just finished rebuilding herself) stare around Yui standing in a cricle, the angel comes out of Cranberry's corpse too and joins them. They make a comment on how lucky Yui was, and the rain begins to fall. Camera pans to a cloudy rainy sky with sun rays coming through, and the scene ends.

In the last scene we see a female character whose face remains unseen, all dressed in black. She is walking through the city and we can hear people talking about what happened recently, and also see the news in some newspaper stands in the background. Scene continues like this until she enters her house (we only see her from behind). When she opens the door the scene is shot from inside and we see her face for the first time: The emo one is the girl that Yui saved in one of the first episodes! (From now on the rest of the scene is a close up on her moving feet.)

Slow motion (sound should be crowd noise) as she takes the outside shoes of and puts on the inside shoes. Slow motion (sound is still crowd noise) as she takes her first step into the wooden floor. As the foot touches the floor the crowd noise stops, and we can hear her say one word: "Tadaima!" And then the screen goes black and the credits roll.

If you are curious as to how accurate you are Top Speed and Ripple fight Calamity Mary and end up killing her by using Ripple's power on a window, throwing it at her and the shards of glass all homed in on her. Snow White and Alice in the meantime are helping civilians and once Calamity Mary is dead Top Speed gets backstabbed by Swim Swim immediately after the fight, since she was waiting for an opportunity to kill the winner of the fight. Afterwards, Fav lowers the amount of people that need to survive to 4 claiming bullshit like the items used up too much mana. Snow White and Alice team up and help people, but what Alice didn't know is that the surviving angel, Minael, hid her doll with the invisibility cloak and transformed into the doll and trailed her home, Swim Swim then ambushes her in human form wile she's at school and kills her, but the rabbits foot allows her to warp to Snow White and they talk for a bit before she dies. Cranberry wants to fight the people who killed Winterprison, so she invites Swim Swim to meet her in the forest, knowing that this is a trap, Swim Swim and her crew prepare a strat by having Tama and Angel hide under the invis cloak and wait to ambush, Cranberry hears them though and disrupts the plan, the angel gets pissed and charges her, getting donuted in the process, Swim Swim then gets shit on during the fight because Cranberry's soundwaves are able to damage her even when she is in liquid form, right when Cranberry is about to deal the killing blow to Swim Swim, Tama comes up behind her and scratches her with her power while Cranberry is distracted, blowing a giant hole in her body and killing her. Swim Swim was unconcious and untransformed while Tama was killing Cranberry, so when she comes to she remembers that one of Ruler's rules is to let no one see her true form, so she begrudgingly kills Tama while crying.

Continued The true story is that normally the magical girl selection test is non-lethal and the losers only forget about their time as magical girls and live their normal lives, however during Cranberry's test, one of hte girls accidentally summoned a demon that killed all of the girls before Cranberry managed to take it down, she was around 11 at the time I believe, she was traumatuzed by the experience and developed a lust for battle and fighting strong opponents, Fav was the mascot for the magical girl hosting that selection test and the truth is most mascots are actually good guys, however Fav was bored from years of doing HR and decided that he enjoyed the show that Cranberry gave him, so they teamed up and Cranberry joined the magic government's HR department so that she could eventually be promoted to giving selection tests, which she secretly made lethal, unbeknownst to the government. Anyway after Swim Swim kills Cranberry Fav asks her to be his master instead, but she denies him. Mean while Ripple finds Snow White and asks her where Swim Swim is, since she wants to kill her out of revenge for Top Speed, SW says that hte game is already over and that true magical girls shouldn't be killing, then Ripple says that SW is the only true magical girl there, and that she's just a murderer, so she's gonna get revenge for her friend. Ripple then has Fav come and tell her Swim Swim's weakness to light and sound and her location, since he wants to kill Swim Swim and find a new master in Ripple or Snow White. Ripple ends up killing Swim Swim, while losing an arm and an eye in the process by using a flashbang she looted from Calamity Mary and then chucking a sword into Swim Swim's neck, Snow White in the meantime hears Fav's distressed voice coming from Cranberry's phone and realizes that to kill Fav she needs to destroy the phone, however she can't do it and Fav taunts her. Then Ripple takes Swim Swim's halberd, and kills Fav

I actually like how they changed this battle scene slightly. On the one hand, I think the book did a better job of portraying how terrified the twins actually were of Winterprison. It just created a much greater sense of panic and was in some ways more emotionally shocking.

However, I like the way they changed it in the anime to have Winterprison crush her skull Oberyn Martell style. I just got more of the sense of vengeance and hatred from Winterprison that I think the scene deserved, especially with this great shot of the blood spattering all over her face.

I think also the anime version of the scene did a better job of capturing the utter disbelief and pure despair as Yuna realized she was about to die and Mina realized she was about to be very alone.
