Banjou is putting his RC cells inside her. Doing that heals ghouls, but it's not really helping Akira. From one of the first issues of :Re, we know that when humans have RC levels above 1000, they lose the ability to eat normal food, so Akira will more than likely end up being "not quite a half ghoul but not human either".

I definitely saw here no one wanted to seriously discuss Furuta at all because of the hate, but even on other websites his fans never really mentioned it which surprised me as I thought it was super obvious. About his love for Rize, I believe it is part genuine but given how Furuta acts, I feel the steel beam was him panicking at the possibility of Rize being captured by V and getting raped. He did say that thought kept him up at night.
