I watched this by myself after /a/ finished sperging over the final few episodes and liked it a lot. Usually I only like one or two girls in an all-female cast but there was something endearing about all of them (the ZRs helped) and I was genuinely upset when Itsuki lost her voice, Fuu going nuts, etc even if they weren't my favorites
I didn't expect a S2 to happen much less a three-part movie but here we are and this time I'm going to watch this show with /a/ so we can cry and sperg together

Yes, an S2 was announced, but the first 6 episodes will be adapting the prequel LN that came out in 2014, showing Tougou's (or, as she was know then, Wasshi's) previous time as a Yuusha.

S2 was announced 3 weeks ago. The first 6 episodes of S2 are going to be an adaptation of the prequel LN Wahio Sumi wa Yuusha de aru and the the other 6 are going to be a proper sequel.

The Washio Sumi episodes are going to receive an early screening on theaters and it will shown in three parts during March, May and July. Most likely episodes 1-2 on March, 3-4 in May and 5-6 on July.

The YuYuYu spin off 4-koma will also get an adaotation, but it'll be shown during the first screening in March.

I haven't played it but the gameplay itself looks like it's shit. Its existence is only justified because it has dozens of VN scenarios with silly Yuusha antics or cute Yuusha moments. It's pretty much a standard Dynasty Warriors style character beat-em-up. Miles better than the shitfest that was Madoka Battle Pentagram, but nothing special.
Once you get the Fairy Blessing equipment, the game becomes nearly impossible to lose.

The item auto-guards if you're not attacking, giving you the tactic of spamming the guard button for just-guards to build up your Mankai meter and then just use Mankai.

The characters at least play differently from each other. Karin and Yuuna are pretty much the only ones who don't feel that different. Tougou plays the most differently since she's projectile based and she can't move with the analog stick. You have to jump or use dodge dashing to move her.

Wasshi's Wasshis were quite substantial.

They are taking their sweet time with this franchise, no? I mean, Gokumi's winter show has no footage and has been slide-showing all around, this one has stuff as far as what is most likely the second movie, but will take a long while to arrive.

With NoWaYu ending in march, we will stay some time without actual new content, but I guess it's fine since Washio will be screening. Its just odd to think that the second season will hit almost 3 years after the show, but at the same time, it's good to see they are not rushing it, hopefully, this translates into great content that makes everyone happy and hyped. It just makes me a bit sad because I'm short on time.
