First I felt like the Russians really were dead for real.
But then I became convinced that they're alive.
But now I am not really sure what to think any more.

I am still leaning towards them coming back. They're just drawing out their return since know it keeps us anxious, tugging at our heart strings.
Their return is pretty much set up perfectly, what with Shizuru and others being able to react to it. So I am feeling pretty confident.

What I did not expect however, was Kaoruko taking the stage with Zampaza and kicking ass with it without team Russia. Though as a one time thing, I don't mind. While I love the Russians and their Buranki, I have to say that Zampaza almost looks like it was tailor made for Kaoruko.
