Writer looks good but I wonder if Rodriguez is a good pick for this story. I felt more comfortable with Cameron at the helm.

Based on the cast list it seems like the setting might be a bit of a departure (I don't really recall taxis in the scrapyard) but the story will probably be similar to the first couple of arcs (with Hugo and Zapan being cast)

Rodriguez is a hit or miss director but when he hits he usually knocks it out of the park. In a perfect world Cameron would have chosen George Miller to direct but you can do a lot worse than Rodriguez, just look at the GITS adaption
