The first movie is a fantastic Patlabor movie that has Mamoru Oshii's fingerprints clearly all over it.
Patlabor 2 is a Mamoriu Oshii movie wrapped up in Patlabor's clothes. It's not BAD, it's just Oshii soapboxing about how Japan is a bunch of limp-dicked faggots since the end of the Cold War. There's some good political intrigue and Oshii's usual beautiful animation. But it's just not the fun "cute cops doing cute cop things" you may expect from Patlabor if you're familiar with the franchise up to that point.
The third movie barely involves the characters from Patlabor and tells a side-story in the universe that could have been made without the connection to Patlabor at all. Not a bad movie, but not Patlabor in the slightest. A solid mystery story, but again, if you're looking for the Patlabor crew, they only show up in little more than a cameo in the end.

Well you obviously never had to bulk in your life so let me enlighten you, to get big and strong you have to eat a lot, A LOT. But bodybuilders and other athletes try to keep the balance of bf% and muscle, they cut and lose a lot of fat/muscle with it.

To put it in a easy way, imagine you eat and lift to get 100 STR, you get strong but you also get fat since eating like a maniac. So they cut, which is basically watching your calorie intake so they can lose all the fat, the problem is that you lose muscle as well in that process. So instead of keeping your 100 points you now have 70.

Sumo wrestlers do the same but without the cutting part because the size and the weight they gain with the extra fat is useful to them. And even so most of them have 10% less bf compared to normal dudes, just watch professional Sumo a little bit and you will notice how big the muscles beneath the fat are. Those guys are monsters and the sport is fun as fuck to watch. So fuck you.

Also there is a Czech sumo wrestler called Takanoyama that is pretty ripped and lean, he is very good and manages to win a lot in lower divisions but gets shit on by higher ranking wrestlers like Ozekis and Yokozunas.

Well thats the point, you don't need to be super fat to be a wrestler but you can never reach the peak of it being 80kgs and wrestling against 150kg monsters like Hakuho. Takanoyama still managed to reach a pretty good ranking with that physique which is admirable. The guy is a beast.

I want to see more sad people, to be honest. Not like pic related, but a person just having that slight tinge of self-hatred to them, barely even noticeable. If you wanna make a really sad anime, just have them start falling off the cliff as time goes on.

One example I can think of is Kouko in Golden Time. It doesn't get too much attention because of... whatever the fuck the second half of the show was even about, but the underlying reason for how she acts, how clingy she is, it's really interesting to observe. The most I've connected to a character in a while.
