So how was this game, anyways?
I heard the main plot's decent but the interesting stuff comes from talking to Kogami and Akane

Did Urobuchi write the game too?

Dunno
The game's out in english though, right?
I got the platinum for it. It was really short.
First runthrough takes about 4 hours and then most of the endings are the same. Like, one ending is a character escapes on a helicopter. Another ending is now two of them escape together and then another is three of them escape.
The midpoint "dates" with the cast were interesting, but at times retarded, especially whenyou essentially have a coffee date with Makishima.
It's an okay fanservice game, but don't expect much else out of it.

No that seems completely possible. The guy's not raping and murdering people all the time and he generally speaking doesn't trigger red flags.
But it sounds like a game that's not trying to say much

You don't understand. They straight up have a coffee date in the cafeteria. The cafeteria of the police force.
It's incredibly unambitious.
>>149445097
Holy fuck never mind that's terrible
>>149445097
Did the hire /evn/ to write it?

It's essentially fanfiction. One of the two new protagonists, in a few of the endings, joins the Sibyl System. There is some cool stuff, like Male Protag plays Heritage to the Future with Kagari, but ultimately it's not worth it. Maybe at bargain bin price it's okay.

Nah that sounds awful. Like an utterly cynical attempt to cash in on a franchise.
Like jesus can't have one of the protags just walk to a nearby Starbucks and talk to Shogo? Gotta have it in the fucking police cafeteria?

The worst part is, the protagonist is so special that Makishima arranges for the protagonist to meet with him for 30 minutes in the cafeteria. This was the worst offender, honestly. Makishima has no other bearing on the plot, except for like one ending where he helps smuggle the protagonists out of Japan by boat.
