That's fine, character development isn't always needed in fiction so long as you can make up for that through good interactions and an overall interesting series of events. The kids were absolutely garbage for that, and even by the end of S1 I was already wishing they never existed.

All in all, I did enjoy it. Cowabunga-froginardo is best !turtle.

I've played MMOs for maybe a decade and LH scratches the pipe dream itch. I couldn't think of a better way to do isekai.

It's one of the only isekai shows I've actually liked, and I liked it quite a bit. I felt that the 2nd season really dragged around the part when they all get trapped in that boss-rush dungeon.
