For more clarification on your All Might part of the argument. All Might going beyond his "limit" was actually him getting closer to the power he once had since he said his old self could've done it in 3 punches. It was also an accumilation of his punches and Nomu not being able to handle all the punches at the same time, it wasn't just a single punch like Deku vs Muscle. Not to mention that All Might has waaaay more experience with the quirk than deku who only had it for a few weeks.

I got a better understanding of Black Clover when I realized that it was the ultimate purified version of a battle shonen.

It's like a katana folded 300 times for ultra pure composition. The series is nothing but battle shonen. Villains only exist for a few chapters, characters get powerups and powerdowns, and so on. It's like a bag of potato chips. You eat it just because you want that battle shonen flavor.

It's a very generic battle shounen that had a kind of a bad start but it gets better as you go on. Even though it's generic, it's the good enjoyable kind of generic with no excessive fan service outside of colour pages and covers but the mangaka can draw good tits. The dialogue might be it's biggest weak point but it might be the fan translations fault and it's not popular/liked enough on /a/ to get Viz scan threads.

It has some cool fights like I really liked that fight were the MC was connected by a string manipulator to a string so that she can make him dodge more easily and some guy was creating teleport portal so that he can dissapear and appear to dodge and attack from any angle.
