Himura Kiseki's Tawawa series got an anime, so I decided to storytime their SAO Progressive manga adaptation.
Shit resolution images, can't be helped.

>>149249697
Sword Art Online Progressive is a reboot/spinoff/prequel of the original arc involving the death game, the titular Sword Art Online.
In chronological order, this story successively goes through the floors of Aincrad, one by one.
Even if you didn't like the anime, or perhaps because you didn't like the anime, give this manga a shot.
This dump of volume 3 is 164 files. Like the volume 2 thread, the dump speed will be a bit lazy, check in once a while and bump it if it falls too far back.
Loli Asuna is cute.

The offset typesetting actually isn't too bad on the physical release, not that it's actually different. But it helps being able to read the words without really cracking open that spine.

I don't think he's specifically breaking all the weapons.
In the novel, it's mentioned that some weapons are just gradually degraded from failed attempts to +0, which is something far more plausible to accept.
And if he's the only player smith so far, it's possible that he gets a ton of orders, and those exceptionally bad results are buried under all the normal ones.

No. The manga has a lot more Argo than the novel did in this part. Cream bukkake didn't happen at all. Argo wasn't in this scene.

>What's KC?
I'm keeping a count(Kiseki Count) of whenever there's an expression of one eye raised and one eye half shut, and the expression happens for no apparent reason. The artist seems to love that expression.
>Why not? Was that stated anywhere in the LN?
Yeah. Most notably, when they were trying to find Sachi, IIRC.
I remember OP could bump their threads before and nobody cared much, did somebody do something retarded shortly before they implemented this, or am I just remembering things incorrectly?

Kawahara needs to introduce some new characters to Progressive with big boobs so the manga can go all out.

Imagine being trapped in SAO for two years as a blind deaf mute.
But I guess you'd probably know that you'd be a blind deaf mute in fulldives during the initial set up, and wouldn't log in to SAO.

Also, there are stars in Aincrad, if you go over to the edges of the castle, you can see them. They have the same constellations visible from Earth, so it's probably just Earth's night sky being used.

>>149371134
I saw one post about it, which was the dark skinned character in the bath with Kirito. I don't really mind, 90% of the enjoyment of the SAO games comes from the gameplay and character interaction, the ecchi tier lewds are just a bonus.
>>149371163
I'm assuming that anyone that hated the series just skipped over the thread.
>>149371187

Stop breaking the fourth wall, Asuna.
Argo's so great.
I guess I might as well ask this of the thread:
Do you prefer the manga's exaggerated wackiness, or do you prefer the LN's more muted nature that sorta necessitates more introspection due to the nature of the medium?

In the novel, Kizmel doesn't wear a swimsuit, because Elves apparently don't have the concept. She comments that wearing clothes while trying to wash yourself is counterproductive, humans are weird.
Kizmel later gets a swimsuit from Asuna, which makes more sense than Kirito having one on hand.
Well, it's just a small thing, censorship slipperyslope whatnot, it's really just a small thing. I do wonder if there were any writing changes that were applied, if necessary.
>>149371378
>Do you prefer the manga's exaggerated wackiness, or do you prefer the LN's more muted nature

So, what, it's supposed to be SAO if it were covered by a writer that wasn't fucking retarded?
>>149371378
>Kawahara needs to [increase the harem]
Hey, it doesn't need to be part of his harem. I mean, Liten could have some huge knockers under that full plate, I don't think her figure underneath it has been mentioned yet.
>>149371620
>what scene from the LN are you most looking forward to Himura getting his hands on?
Has the manga gotten to any of Kizmel's bathing scenes yet?
Actually, I think I want to see Morte and Kirito's duel the most.
>>149371711
Kind of? There's still a novel version of this by the original author, this is the manga adaptation of it.
Things happen pretty differently between the two, though the plot results are more or less the same.

>>149371816
This scene never happens in the LN. Asuna never even gets the Martial Arts skill in it, I think.
Nezha is actually a reoccurring character though, and seems to be doing well enough as of the current Progressive novel.
>>149371873
>Are the characters still pants-on-head retarded and nonsensical
The human villains, proto-Laughing Coffin? Yeah, they're pants-on-head retardedly edgy, but that's their thing. The regular clearers are rather clear headed.
Kibaou is a great guy in Progressive, but people will only remember what a bitch he was in the anime.
>is Kirito still a gary stu faggot?
The manga tones it down a lot in comparison. For example, all the investigating done by Argo in this volume of the manga, Kirito did pretty much all of it himself in the novel.
On the other hand, other people are shown to do things Kirito can't, Argo can pretend to be Jesus Christ and walk on water for example.
>>149365595
I thought something was strange.
>>149372035
>Yeah, they're pants-on-head retardedly edgy, but that's their thing.

What i dont get, is out of all the thousands of players in SAO, only one? picked up blacksmithing. I get this is still super early but a month or two has passed by now right? Donno about the rest of you but crafting is normaly what i goto first in a game that has it.
>>149372092
He had his skilled buds to supply him the mats. Blacksmithing in SAO would lock you out of a valuable skill slot.
That's it for volume 3. Volume 4's dump will be on Monday.
Volume 5's English release doesn't come until March, and who knows when that might get ripped. Don't expect a storytime for volume 5 anytime soon.
If you've read and enjoyed this thread up to this point, give it a bump at least once so that someone else might come along and do the same.
>>149372092

>>149371993
Novel 5, Argo has plenty of screentime, so I can't even begin to imagine what the manga will do with her.
She has less screentime in the volume 4 of the manga though.
>>149372455
>Manga needs to pick up the pace a bit.
Well, it's not like Kawahara is going very fast with the novels either, and you can easily cover a lot of novel with a little manga.
Buy it if you're enjoying it.
I need an anime right now. Wich is the date release of the movie again?
>>149372736
There's a movie? What's it covering?
>>149371422
>glop
So the manga chapters come out monthly. About five chapters make up one volume, let's say two volumes cover one floor.
Glop happens after floor 74, so if Progressive keeps on going floor by floor, it would take 60 years for the manga to get there.
But the novels come out about once a year, and every volume except the first covers one floor.
