The story unfolds itself to you more naturally in the game its based off, instead of what they did in the anime. They crammed each boys game route into 2 episodes each so there was little time to explore each of the respective timelines and events and how they all connect. The anime was a total cashcown. The game is great though.

Easily Soul-Eater Not. Not only is this anime bad and I mean very bad but when you compare it to Soul-Eater the original and you had expected something worthwhile this was like a huge slap in the face. Look at the animation in pic related. I'm looking at all these newfags and I realize, shit, none of you really quite get how bad anime can be. Hell, half of you have confused "less than a masterpiece" with bad. Candidate for Goddess. A really shitty 12-episode mecha show with the absolute worst CGI of all time. You think Berserk's was bad? OH NO. You haven't seen anything yet.

It stars the most aggressively annoying shouty anime protagonist of all time, someone Naruto Uzumaki would tell to chill the fuck out. It's got a catgirl, even though it doesn't actually make sense with the story.

It tries to be all edgy and copy Evangelion, but all it merely falls into horrid pacing, terrible cgi battles, and incredibly slapdash editing. It's not animation on the level of Mars of Destruction, no, this is still something made by an ostensibly professional studio. But god fuck, is this anime bad.

All you people complaining about shit like Mirai Nikki or Guilty Crown or Elfen Lied, fuck, those things run circles around Candidate for Goddess. The worst of those second stringers look like goddamn masterpieces in comparison.
