She was brought up within the Bandai system in rather typical fashion. Started working as a gravure model and did some Super Sentai then moved on to doing roles in their and Lantis sponsored anime. Generally the rule of thumb is if a seiyuu has a sudden and fast rise to lead status and is just getting tons of roles thrown at them they're probably favored by one of the big music companies like Aniplex, Lantis, King Records, Warner Bros, Pony Canyon etc.

Oh and also iDOLM@STER. If you're one of the popular IM@S characters you might as well be a hot commodity and she's up there but again that's still just Bandai favoritism. I still think that's the major reason that M.A.O, Uesaka, Hayami and Uchida are fucking everywhere now though Hayami would have gotten there anyway eventually.

Record Company affiliations are way more important in getting lots and lots of roles than voice talent agencies as they are actually likely to be involved in production committees and can thus plug you. The exception might be Office Osawa which seems to push hard for package deals and seems to be favored by the ACJ alliance which /a/ is utterly clueless about but is extremely important to the structure of current late night anime. I doubt any of those other seiyuu have ever been favored by a Lantis or Pony Canyon or appeared in iDOLM@STER. Honestly unless you can get an in with one of the big anime music companies you're kind of fucked career wise as the favoritism right now is worse than it's ever. It's to the point where Akio Ohtsuka who runs a group that tries to give advice to and nurture seiyuu and who is usually pretty reserved in his comments said if you're looking to get into voice acting right now, despite what the industry PR says about the situation don't right now as it's over-saturated with prospective voice actors and only the favorites are really getting cast. You don't even need to look hard to see it.
