I imagine Touma would be warm, loving, and supportive of their children. He'd make a point about being a good role model and teaching them virtue. Mikoto would probably be a sort of mysterious, wise, seemingly all-knowing but loving sort of mom who offers great advice and only intervenes in their adventures when things seem too hard for even them.

Together their personalities would be pretty compatible as a couple. Touma would initially be giddy about having a gf and go all hopelessly romantic to Mikoto's delight. Over time he'd calm down and probably have issues talking to her about stuff that bothers him. He seems pretty mature so bottling up stuff wouldn't be too much of an issue.

Mikoto would love Touma almost unconditionally, and for the first few years or so they'd be one of those annoying couples who can't keep their hands off each other. Pet names and refusal to stop texting or talking on the phone before bed. Mikoto's the sort of chick who probably believes in stuff like soulmates and the red string of fate. Her big thing would probably be learning to stop worshiping him.

Well since everyone else is scared I'll answer the question. I think it would be enormously better than what it is now. Just look at Madoka for example? In a twelve episode span it outright outclassed most anime in the industry and make them look like a total joke and episode ten is already being discussed as one of the best anime of all time and just about everything was executed perfectly from the fights to the drama.
