Before that faggot that pisses on SHAFT by default says this is a poor adaptation, like he does in every other 3-gatsu thread I've seen, I'd like to renew my invitation for him to post his reasons why he thinks the adaptation is bad.

So far the palette has been consistent and fits the original, maybe a little to dark or too clean (that's SHAFT's style) whenever there's too much Kiriyama. The watery-color backgrounds fit Umino's style. The OP/ED are great and again, fit her tone. The original character design is pretty much a carbon copy of the manga. The pacing is decent, and it's following the plot and the overall tone quite faithfully. The music is mostly OK (except for that bit of jarring electronic music in ep. 2).
So other than a few SHAFTisms, like every homage paid to pic related (I've noticed at least 3 attempts so far), and the really narrow lens and Dutch angles of many interior shots (which again, are very SHAFT), I seriously don't get what the fuck he's talking about.

I can't really say I'm enjoying the story so much, but it's framed absolutely fantastically. I'm paying more attention to the cinematography (for lack of a better word) and the editing than the actual story and dialogue.
