I didn't rename all the actual files, some of them were apparently just corrupt in the rar I downloaded. I had to find those from alternate sources and make sure I had everything in the correct sequence.

I think that all of this so far has been from Seven Seas just based on the fact that I don't see any kind of scanlator credits attached to it in any way. On the other hand, there have been a number of grammatical errors already. Anyway, by the time I'm caught up it'll be a mix from multiple sources.

Fuck. I've been caught up since the last chapter got translated, but I never knew the first OVA came out.

I remember when this manga was new, right from chapter 1. I remember seeing chapter 1, then it went cold for a while. I picked it back up a few months ago, and now I'm dying for more. Though, what happened to the whole Slay Vega plot? It feels like it was dropped at some point since nobody ever mentions it or even seems to notice anymore.

That shit was MAGICAL. God damn, I don't think I've watched anything so intently since Redline. I just couldn't take my eyes away. The voices are so perfect, too.

Uh no. Maybe try rereading and paying attention. The implications of chise being a slay vega is what the whole story revolves around (in particular chise's reduced lifespan and how her magic use accelerates the whole process)

While that's true, it seems more like a passive thing than the first few chapters. It's brought up here and there, but it's not an incredibly in-your-face point like most series seem to enjoy forcing down folks' throats. When reading the parts where it's not mentioned, it's a very calm series about a girl learning magic, and it's a very enjoyable one at that. Then shit gets crazy and they remind you about the Slay Vega ordeal like a quick refresher, just before the fun sets in.
