I think people are just pretending to like Haruhi and Lucky Star more than Hibike and Tamako. The latter shows are just objectively better with a distinct feminine touch devoid of male otaku pandering found in their early shows dealing with real themes of coming of age, community, passion, dealing with loss with far superior photography and animation work. Rather than classics, pre-2010 Kyoani works are just a stepping stone for the studio artistically speaking.

Publisher are a strain on studios by taking a good chunk of the profits and pushing unreasonable deadlines on them? The more original and studio-owned IPs we will have, the healthier the industry will be.

And no, P.A didn't stole Keyshit, they have a Key writer that worked with them for two originals, that's very different from adaptating Key works (and arguably better).
