Anti-Mage isn't the best endgame carry. His strong points are farming quick and getting an item lead on most other carries, and fucking with high-mana heroes until they get some form of spell-immunity. Because of the nature of his orb effect, he doesn't actually scale super well for a carry, since when you get later into the game most people will have bought BKBs.
