Wasn't perfect in Fate either, as new entries show more and more. Her robotic attitude caused a misunderstanding with Lancelot that lead him down a path of endless despair, her robotic atitude caused a misunderstanding with Mordred that lead her down a path of ruin that fucked the entire country. Lancelot wanted to be punished if he could ever find redepention. Not being able to find redeption drove him insane. Mordred just wanted to be recognized by her father, she didn't really want to be king, however Arthuria with her robotic atitude can't read the emotions of others, so when Mordred revealed herself Arthuria just denied her entirely. This caused Mordred to take it quite harshly, thinking that Arthuria cast her out because she was the bastard son of Morgan, when really Arthuria didn't mean it that way, but her robotic nature fucked her again. Even Arthuria herself finally admitted in Zero that she never really understood the people because she cut off her emotions. If she couldn't understand them, then she could not effectively lead them, she could not have understood their interests. Her problems with leading them were due to the prophecy that Merlin told her at the onset, and her childish way of interpreting it, and his robotic way of agreeing even though it wasn't quite correct. She lead as an inhuman, and her behavior continued causing rifts with her and everyone else as time went onward.

Lancer Arthuria was a far better leader even just going off her bare profile information.

In the basement scene she realized exactly what Alex was trying to say, but was too clumsy and didn't have an I with her to be able to say properly. She needed to see shirou rejecting the grail and understand what he has been through to realize it.
