Anyone get that new anniversary collector's edition book? Anyone get a signed version or any cool numbers?
>>148600439
Would Horo still bang Lawrence once he becomes a wrinkly old fuck? How come they only have one child?

Why didn't Holo have a litter?

Hey guys, here's a reminder post.
So, here's the deal. For those of you who haven't seen my previous posts, a summary: I bought a copy of Spice and Wolf from Amazon, but due to Amazon being absolute crap, I wasn't sure I'd even get a copy, so when the B&N info dropped I snapped up a copy there. Well, Amazon did end up sending me a copy as well, so I have two. And you know what I hate? Scalpers. Fuck those guys.
On Sunday around 3 PM PST, I'm going to post in whatever the current buyfag thread is. The first person to respond to my post with an e-mail address will get first dibs on buying my extra copy at face value($150) + shipping. I'll ship it to wherever so long as you pay for it. I'll give you my paypal, you send me the money, I send you the book. If the first person bails out, I'll move on to the second, and so on. This is the only way I can make this fair to everyone who didn't get a copy but wants one. Hopefully this will make up a little bit for Amazon fucking so many people over, and scalpers being assholes.
Remember, Sunday, October 16th, at AROUND 3:00 PM PST. I may not post exactly at 3 because I'm human and I do human things.
Here's the cover. Yeah, it has a little what appears to be grease mark on the top, but I'm sure you can clean that off. That was Amazon. Fuck Amazon.
And here's the number.
Remember, SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16TH, AROUND 3:00 PM PST. That's about 24 hours from now. If you see someone posting that doesn't have my trip, it's not me. Good luck guys.

>>148602213
Neat. I remember you posting this last Thursday I think. Was gonna try to buy it from you but I ended up getting a copy from KinoKunya even though I ordered it last friday.
Got number 64 no less.
>>148602142
Also fuck Amazon, a lot of anon's have gotten damaged books from them with small stains and shit.
>>148602437
Meanwhile I bought Aug 29 and Amazon shipped my copy 2 days ago. Hoping to get a good number.
>>148602437
Grats. I got 221 myself.

>That jacket!

When did Myuri's hair went from auburn to silver?
>>148602835
Puberty?
Anyone interested in watching this together some time? Was thinking about streaming it (probably only get through the first season) over Thanksgiving week. Then maybe season 2 over Christmas?
>>148602835
She love her dad more and paint it silver.
>>148602835
Some sort of recessive gene that only activates later in life.
>>148603364
>She love her dad more
Holo probably teased her a little too much.
>>148602488
Fucking this, they haven't even shipped mine yet. Their CS are assuring me it will be shipped soonâ„¢ and that it will still arrive on timeâ„¢
>>148603404
Is that even a thing?
>>148603566
I had almost white blond hair until I was about 9, then it turned brunette.
Is his surname Lawrence or Craft?
>>148603641
>The exact concentrations of eumelanin and pheomelanin in your hair depend on which genes are turned on or off. Importantly, the expressions of the genes responsible for hair color are not constant throughout your life — these shifts in gene expression give rise to the changes in hair color that some kids experience.
The more you know
>>148602835
Probably the auburn image was made before Myuri's design was decided, it's pretty old after all.
>>148603736
Neato. I would have preferred the blond hair though, made me look prettier.
>>148603761
Why change the hair color then? Cole is already silverheaded. They have the reverse trap for blonde. If Myuri was still auburn, the party balance would be perfect.
>>148603837
She had to inherit SOMETHING from Laurence. If she didn't have silver hair, she'd just be a mini Holo.
>>148603879
Honestly, I would have given her more of a Lawrence style personality to go with the red hair.
>>148600439
Why is the LN art so awful compared to the artbooks? Did Jyuu just get better as time went on?
Most of the art in the LN looks manga panel tier not "I had weeks to do just these five drawings" tier.
>>148604104
Combination of him getting better, and getting paid more to do the art books after the series got popular.
>>148604104
I don't think his art was ever bad though. Just unpolished.
when will Yen Press publish Myuri's novel?
>>148604276
TBD. It was confirmed that they would though
The absolute smuggest.

Daily reminder Eve gets more action than Holo in the novels.

Don't they fuck all the time in the hot springs?Like in my favorite doujins

>>148604511
Hitler calls out the doujins of doing a better job than the novelsspecifically Harvest II
What was that other series called that the author of Spice and Wolf made? It was like about a priest and a witch or something? Is it still going?
>>148604880
No his VN's and novels bombed so he has to milk Spice and Wolf some more despite never giving it a proper conclusion anyway.
>>148604978
Mom Holo is hazardous to my heart
Myuri inherited Korbo's cute butt
>>148602213
>>148602437
Here's a pic of mine. Can't believe I was lucky enough to get such a nice number even though I only only ordered it last friday.
>>148605438
Perfect condition too.
>>148605489
Fuck I have no idea why it's so blurry.
>>148605489
how much?
I DON'T NEED IT
>>148605530
150 bucks. Worth every penny in my opinion.
>>148605599
Yes you do anon.
>>148605601
Pre-order from Amazon at $135, releases next month.
I guess I'm getting a second non-numbered edition? should I cancel? or is it really just a 1 page difference?
>>148605848
Yeah it won't be numbered, but it's still worth it in my opinion.
>>148605489
Also it had this weird crumpled up postit note inside. I kept it because I thought it maybe was a message from some gook trapped in a book warehouse.
Anyone know what it says?
>>148606042
Fuck me I don't know what these are all so blurry.
>>148606042
SA-I-N-NA
I have no idea what it means.
>>148606259
of fuck, I actually do.
SAINNA = SIGNED
>>148606323
Hmmm, it wasn't signed on any page that I could find. Numbered, but that's it.
Also, anyone have a good way to get that ISBN/Pricing sticker off the back without leaving any sticky shit on it?
>>148603102
So no one's interested?
>>148606728
sounds interesting, although I've got to much stuff on my backlog to take care of.
it makes me curious how Korbo threads were when S&W was airing
>>148601113
I phoned in an order to Barnes and Nobles in Tribeca, New York to get a copy. Felt absolutely wonderful, especially being a BN member and all. It's so wonderful to read while I've got my legs criss-crossed and proped up on my desk.
>>148602213
>>148602142
You even still posted in the thread, even when saying you would in the buyfag thread. Good on you, Anon. You're doing a wonderful thing for those who need a copy. Didn't realize you were a Tribeca bud too, righteous.
>>148603642
It's supposed to be K/Craft, but because of Japanese naming conventions, he's introduced as Kraft Lawrence.
>>148606728
I always forget to do these kinds of things anyway.
But it is nice to go back and bask in some prime Ami Koshimizu once in a while.
>>148605438
Awesome number, Anon.
>>148606323
>>148606259
>>148606042
Neat shit.
He is literally perfect.
>>148605438
>>148607160
What's so great about 64?
>>148607552
It's a double-digit number. They're statistically more rare than triple digit numbers and quadruple digit numbers. If you ordered from Kinokuya's, you most likely got a number #9-200 and #200-#300 from BN Tribeca and +#1,000 from Amazon, so finding a double-digit number was much more luck based.
>>148600553
>>148607412
I fucking love these.
>>148607685
I also ordered it last week and honestly didn't know if I'd even get a numbered copy.
>>148607948
Also I love Holo.
>Not shipped
>Not canceled
>"on-time"
>Money refunded.
What the fuck, stop sending me mixed signal Amazon.
>>148607685
What about 1-8?
>>148608498
#1 went to the author, #2 may or may not have gone to the illustrator and #3-#8 definitely went to employees of Yen Press involved with this book.
>>148608498
Seven books were given to Yen Press employees, in their office building. And 1 book to Isuna Hasekura, author of the Novels who bound them together.
Or something. I dunno, I've been drinking.
