I've noticed a lot of people making the same mistake that I did before. Back when I first came across this manga, I dropped it cause it doesn't have what I can say as a strong start and....well....it's generic harem. And I've seen enough harem to hate most of them.

But this is not, in a way. It isn't until few months ago I've picked it up again, so there are already a lot of chapters available for me to get a better look about this series.
The (main) story progress rather nicely, the MC develops steadily; not too slow nor too rushed, and the ART...oh dear lord the art...But what made it so much better (for me, at least) compares to your generic harem is how the author balances between the fanservice and the plot. You also won't see dumb moment like MC tripping on a flat ground and accidentally shove his tongue inside a girl's pussy.
The author is a huge pervert through and through, but he always (somehow able to) calmly put his other head aside and actually use the one on his neck to write the story. Oh, and the man really knows his loli.

I won't say what I've said is the most accurate or the best way to describe this manga, since I've become pretty much a fanboy for this series so I'm most probably being bias. If you think of reading this but stop because it's harem/ecchi/lame MC/whatever, give yourself a chance and try read it for few chapters. If it still doesn't suits you, you can always drop it after you're SURE this isn't for you. And I apologize for your time.

Totally get you. I was the same way. After reading a few of the first chapters, I just dropped it, but after seeing the chapters getting dumped on /a/ as they were being translated in succession to catch up to the raws, I peeked in and really liked what I saw. The author really did well and I love his handling of the characters (who to give attention to and how much, all that jazz).

There is still no way for the adaptation to be anything but a giant insult if this isn't something like a OVA. I can't think of any studio that could actually do this justice unless it concentrates on a single part and butchers the rest.

I think it's tied to the water dolls. (>>148543333) Since the pro faction has the advantage during the opening moves of the fight I am assuming that once the anti's water doll takes enough damage the doll steps in.

Their power increases as a result so we only need to identify the cause. I guess either the doll itself supplies the power or it draws it from another source, like the missing Tsukumogami.
